Michele Meyer is a dedicated National Board Certified Naturapath, Licensed Lay Midwife, and Certified Massage Therapist, who provides a wide range of hands-on healing techniques and state of the art Energetic Testing and Treatments with caring, warmth, education and support.

Employing a fusion of several bodywork and emotional techniques, she is able to relax muscles, dramatically improve circulation of blood, nerve and lymph flow, increase mobility, balance the body’s vital energy, improve digestion and elimination, and help with specific detoxification of Environmental toxins.

During her career, Michele has gained a well-deserved reputation for her abilities to ease stress, sooth aches and pains, and leave her clients with a greater sense of well being and direction for health.

Her interest in Holistic Health care started in the early 70’s as she volunteered and went on to co-manage a food Co-op and learn about whole food nutrition and women’s self health care. She ran a retail business specializing in nutrition, natural fiber clothing and body care products. She became a licensed lay Midwife in New Mexico and So. Colorado in the early 80’s and went on to become a Chiropractic assistant and developed her love and ability for hands -on body work, corrective exercise, and Autonomic Response Testing (specific muscle testing) and nutritional testing.
She also has extensive training in Polarity therapy, Looyenwork, Deep tissue structural integration, body-mind clearing massage, ART, Psycho-Kinesiology, reflexology, Biofeedback, and many other modalities.

Michele began offering the Jade system electronically assisted Lymphatic cleansing and live and dried blood analysis in early 1994 and has since incorporated several other modalities. She seeks out and investigates new and better techniques for facilitating the body’s ability to repair and rejuvenate itself.
She has a vast wealth of knowledge that she shares with clients and associates.

The Lymphatic system is the largest part of the immune system and plays a major role along with the brain and nervous system in the body’s defenses against dis-ease and infection.It lays everywhere underneath your skin and all around the organs.This collective pathway of organs, ducts, and tissues delivers nutrients into body cells, and drains tissue fluid (lymph) back to the kidneys or into the bloodstream.

Lymph moves thru the body, by the opening and closing of valves that have an electrical beat of their own. The natural movement of the diaphram is restricted in many people with swelling and inflammation of their digestive organs, limiting the flow of nutrients, white blood cells and oxygen in the blood into the tissues. This also inhibits the removal of normal metabolic waste, carbon dioxide, and environmental toxins, heavy metals, pesticides, etc. If you can’t move them, you store them in fat.
Cellulite and weight gain is often a result of poor digestion, lymphatic overload and poor detoxification systems. The interstitial space is where we store the toxins and fat together.

When the lymphatic system is overloaded,clogged or not functioning optimally, you may experience cellulite formation, fat deposits, glandular inflammation, soreness, stiffness, pain, and other manifestations of illness.When oxygen and nutrients are depleted because of an impaired lymph system energy loss often results.

A typical lymphatic treatment is done on a massage table with the client laying down dis-robed and covered with a sheet. It begins with a systematic opening of the lymphatics, 1st around all the organs and then progressing to the other parts of the body one section at a time.
Each section is treated with a specially formulated cream that stimulates drainage and reduces soreness. Then water, Derma Ray, Jade Machine, vibration or suction is employed and the the final part of the treatment is to go in the infra-red ozone sauna, or take a good hot Epsom salt bath at home.

This simple, relaxing technique,promotes surface and extremely deep stimulation of the lymphatic channels, vascular ,nervous system, and energetic (meridian flow) and influences the breaking down of adhesions, smoothing scar tissue, and releasing cellulite deposits.

As the lymphatic system is activated, clients may experience symptoms of “cleaning out” such as increased body odor, minor rashes, increased perspiration(desirable) or other signs that the program is working.More frequent bathing, rigorous skin brushing, mild jumping on a mini-trampoline (Nedak
is recommended) infra-red saunas, or Epsom salt baths all help with the
process.

In many cases this program provides
rapid,measurable results such as inches lost, reduction of swelling, stiffness or pain. Although 1 treatment can be very beneficial, a series of treatments,
usually 5- 10, are recommended along
with a change of lifestyle, diet and exercise if needed.
